First aid, Levels 1 to 3
- Practise lifesaving skills hands-on, using training manikins
- Learn to a standard aligned with Department of Labour, SETA and QCTO curricula
- Choose the level your workplace needs. We will help you pick the right one
- Leave with a certificate of competency once you pass
Fire fighting
- How fire starts and spreads: the elements and phases of fire
- Choose and use the right fire extinguisher
- Fire attack and termination procedures
- The industrial course adds fire hose drills, hydrants and fittings
- Evacuation procedure course: emergency plans and evacuation wardens
Health and safety
- Know your duties under the OHS Act (Act 85 of 1993)
- Inspection techniques, checklists and safe working procedures
- Emergency planning and incident investigation
- Courses for SHE representatives, SHE supervisors, supervisors and managers
Hazardous chemicals and risk
- Identify hazards and assess risk (HIRA, 1 day)
- Handle hazardous chemicals safely, with the right PPE and control measures
- Dangerous goods awareness for drivers (1 day)
- Confined spaces and vessel entry

Questions before you book
Will I get a certificate?
Yes. Successful candidates receive a certificate of competency, and every learner gets a course manual. Certificates are released once payment has been received, unless other arrangements are in place.
Where does the training take place?
At our own training facility at 19 Francolin Street, Elspark, Germiston, or on your own site. Open courses run at our facility every month.
What language is the training in?
Training is conducted in English. We can arrange interpreters or multilingual facilitators on request.
Can you train my whole team at our workplace?
Yes. We bring facilitators, equipment and course material to your site, and we compile the material around your needs.
Do you offer discounts?
Clients who train with us monthly, on an ongoing basis, get 20% off our standard rates.
Are your courses accredited?
Yes: FP&M SETA (FPM21/PRPACC-082), QCTO (07-QCTO/SDP110924114549), Department of Labour (CI 071), and we are a SAOSH corporate member (No. 55877443).
